trips. Of course there are ample guidebooks, but there are many other books accounting
peoples’ travels. Among them are:
Anything by Bill Bryson. Very witty travel writer. My favorites are A Sunburned Country and A
Walk in the Woods.
Lonely Planet puts out a collection of back packer stories nearly every year. Definitely worth
picking up.
